I teach weaving and natural dyeing for a variety of Arts and Crafts educational and recreational establishments, and in my studio near Cirencester. I have added an ‘at home’ service, where I can teach you on your own loom as well as on the looms I bring with me.
Tuition can be arranged on an individual basis to suit your requirements, whether a one-off experience day or regular sessions to build your weaving knowledge.
Weaving in the Studio
The casual ‘come and weave’ group sessions held on the first Friday/Saturday of the month have been suspended for the time being.
Currently I am offering individuals tuition in the studio but am happy to take two if the participants are friends/related so comfortable with working in close proximity to another. I have taken this decision in recognition of the varying confidence of individuals in respect of the Covid-19 pandemic and vaccination.
The fee for a half-day (around 3 hours) is £50 and if you choose to stay for longer an additional £10 per hour. This includes yarns in stock and use of equipment. Workshops are available on weekdays and Saturdays, please get in touch to arrange a mutually convenient date.
