Early sampling to convert a 24 shaft to 16 shaft design in double cloth Having got my design downscaled I sampled to improve the shape of the chain links, as initially they were a bit squat! I experimented with using the rust colour in the weft, using it in a range of places in the pattern. Sampling for Bristol Cloth competition design Final sampling. I was tempted to add in a little bit of sparkle, just for my own pleasure. Final sampling. Again, for my own pleasure I mixed in an ice blue with the pale grey in wool and shiny thread! My submission boards on display with the other three shortlisted entries at Lab Space on Bristol Harbourside. Share this:TwitterFacebookLike Loading...
